BV5600 BV6000 BV6600 Electric Blower Vacuum Mulchers Type 1
In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, BLACK+DECKER is recalling to repair BLACK+DECKER BV5600, BV6000 and BV6600 electric blower/vacuum/mulcher (Type 1). The fan cover can unlatch unexpectedly, posing a laceration hazard.

Only BV5600, BV6000 and BV6600 Type 1 models are affected. Type 2 models are not affected. The model number and type are on a label on the right side of the motor housing (see below).
If your product is included, STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY and call BLACK+DECKER® toll free: 1-866-937-9805 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time, Monday through Friday or email recall@sbdinc.com to arrange for a free replacement fan cover.
